The Family Care Office hosts workshops throughout the year for raising toddlers and has books about this topic in our library. Please also refer to Programming for Children.

Resources within the University of Toronto 

• The Family Care Office normally offers a workshop on Toddler Sleep once per year. The workshop is led by U of T’s Professor Robyn Stremler. Read about Professor Stremler’s approach.  
• The drop-in centre at University Family Housing (for students who live in Student Family Housing on Charles Street on the St. George Campus) 
• Studying with a toddler? The Family Study Space at Robarts is open to current students, faculty members, visiting scholars, and staff at the University of Toronto to bring their children (12 years old or under) to Robarts Library. 

Resources within the Community 

• EarlyON Centres are available throughout Ontario and offer a range of services and resources, where you can: join fun activities such as reading, storytelling, sing-alongs and games, get advice from professionals trained in early childhood development, find out about other family services in your community and connect with other families with young children. 
• City of Toronto children’s programs include licensed childcare, child and family programs, and recreation programs. Peel Region Children and Parenting website offers services and resources for families with children. 
• Local libraries offer a variety of programming for children of all ages. Visit Toronto Public Library Programs and Mississauga Library Programs to see what is available.
