Makerspaces at the University of Toronto
Created for students, faculty, and staff in the UTSC community, this space in the library is an environment that encourages its users to be innovative, explore new concepts, execute great ideas, and have fun doing it! The Makerspace provides FREE access to a space equipped with modern technology, such as 3D printers, iMac computers, specialty software, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and more. It has been designed to turn creative ideas into realities, by making the resources to do so available and accessible. All who use the space are encouraged to experiment and discover, tinker with technologies, bring perspectives and skill sets together, and work together on projects.
