International sources

Statistics for foreign countries can be found from international sources and country sources.

International sources are statistics collected from various countries by agencies such as United Nations or World Bank.

Check Statista for statistics and studies gathered by market researchers, trade organizations, scientific publications, and government sources on 60,000 topics and 50+ countries.

Country sources are statistics collected by each individual country's statistical agency. They are generally more detailed and up-to-date than the international sources. However, a country's statistical yearbook may contain only of the language of the country.

For items not found at Robarts Library, they may be available digitally through the Internet Archive and available in print by request at UTL Downsview.
