Think about the different types of information these sources

NEVER pay for articles or eBooks

If you encounter a message that you should pay to access an article, ebook, etc. online, STOP and try the following:

1) Search for the resource the library website <www.library.utoronto.ca>

Learn why you need to SIGN IN with your UTORID to LibrarySearch
Search for Specific Titles in LibrarySearch (e.g., books, articles, newspapers, films, etc.)
1. Find an Article by Title in LibrarySearch
2. Find a Book by Title in LibrarySearch

2) Set up Google Scholar to ask for your UTORID

Go to Google Scholar Settings, select 'Library links' in the navigation menu on the left and choose ‘University of Toronto Libraries’

3) Ask for help if you still have access issues
