The Johnson Presidency Administrative Histories consist of agency and department records from the Johnson administration. They are subdivided by topic. 

 

The War on Poverty Collection provides an insight to President Lyndon B. Johnson's Great Society, which was predicated on two goals: elimination of poverty and racial injustice. Johnson's "unconditional war on poverty" created the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964 which created the Office of Economic Opportunity
