JOURNAL ALERTING SERVICES

Journal alerting services update researchers automatically when new content is released by a journal or journals. There are sometimes known as table-of-contents (TOC) or current awareness services.

These services help keep researchers up-to-date within their discipline.

As a graduate student, consider signing up for at least one of the services below to ensure you stay current with the latest research published on topics of interest to you.

BROWZINE

BrowZine's Logo

BrowZine is a free app that helps faculty, staff and students, find, follow and stay current with their favorite academic journals.

Once users create an account, you can populate a 'bookshelf' within the app with e-journals available through the library; new issues are automatically downloaded to the bookshelf when they become available.

Available for iPhone/iPad, Android smartphones and tablets, and Kindle Fire HD tablets.  Click here for more information about these options.

NEW (Summer 2020):  BrowZine is now also available as a website!  Click here to see the Web version of Browzine.  As with the app, a free account must be created to build a custom bookshelf that is updated with new content when published.
