Scholarly books may be a useful resource for you project. Some may contain case studies and/or have a regional or city focus.

In addition to keyword or author searching, try using subject headings to surface books on a topic. Here's a list of some of the subject headings associated with the e-books listed below:

Some of the above headings may only generate relevant results in combination with others. Experiment with the subject headings listed there by clicking through to generate a search using a heading OR make a note of it and incorporate this into a future catalogue search.
