Searching the Literature: A Guide to Comprehensive Searching in the Health Sciences

Students and researchers in the health sciences are often required to conduct comprehensive searches of the literature. Follow the steps in this guide to learn how this process works.

Embase Video Tutorials

This series of quick, simple screencasts is designed to guide you through searching comprehensively in Ovid Embase.

**A note: As interfaces and databases regularly go through updates to improve their services, it has come to our attention that Embase can now be searched using .kf much the way that Medline can.
Searching .kw will still garner results for you, but it will only return exact phrases provided by the author, as opposed to words within the keyword heading field; that is, author provided keywords.
