Introduction

Within the University of Toronto Library system, the Cheng Yu Tung East Asian Library specializes in collecting and preserving research materials in Chinese, Japanese, and Korean, with an emphasis on humanities and social sciences. This guide aims to provide users with a general introduction to print and electronic research resources related to Chinese Studies at U of T and on the open Internet.

Trial of Chinese e-Books via i-READ
 
EAL has just arranged free trial access to 500 Chinese e-books (mainly in traditional Chinese and published in Taiwan) via the  i-READ platform.
trial access period:  2021/4/1 --- 2021/6/30
how to access:
  1.  log in to the UTORvpn (for information: https://isea.utoronto.ca/services/vpn/utorvpn/);
  2. browse the e-book lists, and find the title of interest;
