Object Project Poster Grade: 20% Due: In-class November 26 (please note that I cannot grant extensions beyond this week – if you need more time, we will have to petition the ACM dept Chair for a special extension)
This final assignment is an opportunity for you, as ‘curator’ of this object, to present your thoughts and ideas about how best to communicate the significance and relevance of this artwork to your audience. You will need to clearly define your audience, to think carefully about what kind of information you think is most relevant, to be careful and precise about the language and style you employ, to be creative and engaging in your delivery and to justify your decisions. Your ‘paper’ will take the form of a research poster. Students may choose to submit their final posters to the UTSC Library Research Poster competition. Please be sure to discuss your choice with me during office hour meetings.
