HIS395H5S LGBTQ2+ Oral History: Queer Peel (Omeka S Assignment)

“Omeka” is a Swahili word, which means to display or layout wares; to speak out; to spread out; to unpack (Omeka Project). Omeka is designed for publishing collections and exhibits of cultural heritage content, such as photographs, manuscript letters, and oral histories. It provides two versions from the system viewpoint: Omeka Classic and Omeka S, and this course uses Omeka S.

Omeka S is a web publishing platform for institutions interested in connecting digital cultural heritage collections with other resources online.
