CHM499: Introduction to Chemistry Research

The resources in this guide will help you through the CHM499 research process from start to finish.

SciFinder-n, produced by the Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS), is the most comprehensive resource for searching the chemical literature. Search substance data, chemical reactions, or scientific literature (journal articles, patents and conference proceedings) by topic, keyword, citation information, substance name or CAS Registry Number. You can also use the structure editor to draw and search for chemical structures, substructures or reactions.
