What is the purpose of your thesis report?

The purpose of your thesis report is to:

  • Summarize the research you have completed throughout CHM499
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of your topic and the literature​
  • Develop critical scientific writing and communication skills for your future career(s)

Steps to Writing Your Thesis Report

There are several stages to completing your thesis report. Plan ahead so that you leave enough time for each step! 

  1. Consult with your supervisor
  2. Create an outline

  4. Write your thesis
