Scopus is an interdisciplinary database that includes journal articles and other resources the life sciences (e.g. biology, zoology, genetics, etc.), physical sciences (e.g. physics, chemistry), social sciences (e.g. anthropology, sociology, political sciences, history), and health sciences. This wide coverage makes Scopus very important for searching citation trails because it may include titles not available through the library catalogue.
1) Locate your desired article and select the box to the left of its title.

2) Click on "View Cited By" for forward searching.

3) Click on the ellipses to show "View References" for backward searching.
