How to capture 360 photos?

360 photos allow you to share a more immersive experience by taking the viewer behind the scenes. Here is how you can capture 360 photos for desktop or VR viewing.

Using a smart phone

  • Take a panorama with your smart phone camera
  • Capture a 360 photo with depth and sound using an app like Street View or Google's Cardboard Camera App

Using a digital camera

Using a 360 camera

  • Use a 360 camera such as RSL's Gear 360, RICOH THETA S, 360Fly, Giroptic 360 Cam or ALLie Camera

How to capture 360 videos?

To create 360 videos, you will need to use a 360 camera, such as the RSL's Gear 360, to record 360 degrees of a scene simultaneously. Viewers can drag the angle of their view on the web or device.
