ArtReach is an organization designed to support community-based arts initiatives that engage youth from under served populations who have experienced exclusion in Toronto. A guiding principle of ArtReach is that funding needs to be accessible to youth directly, and should empower youth by placing ownership of projects in their own hands. ArtReach encourages youth to take the lead in defining what art means to them, and what resources they need to achieve their goals.

To support Canadian media content makers in creating for and connecting with, audiences here and everywhere. Since 1997 the Bell Fund has received over $200 million in financial contributions from Bell TV to support the development and production of cross-platform digital media and TV content. In 2001 the Bell Fund was awarded an endowment of $10 million from Bell TV, as a result of a tangible benefits package. The revenues generated by this endowment are made available for development funding.

FACTOR (the Foundation Assisting Canadian Talent on Recordings) is a public/private partnership that supports the production of sound recordings by Canadian musicians and helps Canadian music companies make recordings available to a wider public. FACTOR is committed to reflecting the diversity of the Canadian population in its programs and operations. We are committed to ensuring universal access to all funds and services, including all musical expressions and talent. We will also in our work encourage these values of diversity and inclusiveness within the broader Canadian music sector.

The Ontario Creates Film Fund is intended to increase the level of domestic feature film production in Ontario. It provides support to Ontario producers for feature film projects with development and production financing. Marketing and Distribution support is also available for films that have been supported via Film Fund-Production.

The Ontario Music Investment Fund (OMIF) is designed to provide targeted economic development investment to the province’s vibrant and diverse music industry. OMIF supports Ontario music companies with strong growth potential to maximize return on investment (ROI), and create more opportunities for emerging artists to record and perform in Ontario.

SAW Video was initiated in 1981 as a project of the Sussex Annex Works (S.A.W.) located in Ottawa’s Byward Market. Highlights of SAW Video Coop’s early years include the Ottawa International Festival of Video Art (1983 & 1986) and the JumpstART grant was created in 1985 to assist artists new to video and continues to this day, having supported over 100 productions.

StreetARToronto (StART) is a suite of innovative programs designed specifically for streets and public spaces. Initiated in 2012 as an integral part of the City’s Graffiti Management Plan, StART has been successful in reducing graffiti vandalism and replacing it with vibrant, colourful, community-engaged street art.

Comprised of some 200 professionals passionate about Canadian content, Telefilm Canada works to finance, develop, and promote the Canadian audiovisual industry of today and tomorrow.

Toronto Arts Council (TAC) is the City of Toronto's funding body for artists and arts organizations. Since 1974, TAC has played a major role in the city’s cultural industries by supporting a very broad range of artistic activity. From the emerging artist to the most established, from celebrated institutions to arts that challenge convention, TAC is typically the first funder to offer support. Today, TAC grants lead to exhibitions, performances, readings and workshops seen annually by over 5 million people. Through our ongoing funding, TAC cultivates a rich engagement between artists and audiences.
