The Library Search (or Library Catalogue) searches all campuses and colleges in UofT for:
- Books; AV material; Maps; Government publications
- Journals (Magazines, Newspapers)
- Journal Articles and Book Chapters (from a limited number of databases)
Look at the SUBJECTS of a relevant book to obtain additional keywords for your search. For examle note the SUBJECTS of the book: Arber, Agnes Robertson. Herbals: Their Origin and Evolution. A Chapter in the History of Botany, 1470-1670
- Botanical literature.
- Botany History.
- Botany Pre-Linnean works Bibliography.
- Herbs.
Use the library catalogue to find out if you have access to a journal title:
- Social History of Medicine
- The Journal of Medieval and Early Modern Studies
- Journal of the History of Medince and Allied Sciences
- Medical History
You can also search for journal articles and book chapters by using specialized subject databases.
