Gerstein Science Information Centre is a self-help library.
Information Desk staff can give general directions and brief instructions for resources so you can do your own research.
Please note that guests do not have access to WiFi.
However, members of the public can access Gerstein's online resources by using the public terminals. There are 5 computers called LIRA workstations available for public use:
You will need a driver's license or credit card or other scannable identification to establish a guest account
If you have issues with the machine, see the staff at the Loan Services Desk
To establish a guest account, go to the workstation closest to printer station number one and follow the posted instructions
Guest accounts have a limited duration as shown on the printed receipt after scanning the identification document

Anyone visiting Gerstein may consult any of our books in the library. To borrow books and take them home you will have register. See more information on becoming an alumni or an external researcher or an associate member.
