General resources

  • For languages with non-roman scripts (such as Devanagari, Arabic, and others), most library materials use transliteration. Library transliteration follows "Library of Congress Romanization Tables". Use the LC table for each language to transliterate words and phrases in the original non-Roman script when searching for library materials.
