First official publication of new U.S. treaties.
Published as a series of consecutively numbered, individually paginated pamphlets containing the text of treaties ('slips' or 'slip treaties').
They are eventually bound in the UST series (see below). Lag time between publication in TIAS and UST is roughly 5 years.
