VIC 110 - Critical Perspectives on Society

General information to support VIC 110 as taught by Prof. David Cook. This seminar course examines the contribution of an individual or individuals to the public sphere. Students will explore how public service and citizenship are developed.

Research & Writing Seminars: Develop Your Scholarly Voice

A series of four seminars is designed to develop academic research and writing skills.

  • 2-hour sessions co-taught by a librarian and a writing instructor.
    • Attend 3 of the 4 seminars to earn the Co-Curricular Record credit.
    • For the 2023-2024 academic year, the seminars will be delivered online.

Writing Plus Workshops

Workshops are free to all U of T students and there is no need to pre-register. Come for one, or come for all! All the workshops are offered several times in the year, so check both Saturday and weekday schedules to find times that suit you.
(These are not eligible for a co-curricular record credit). 

  • Writing Plus will be offered both in-person (at University College, Room 248) and online (via Zoom) this year.
