How to get printed books from U of T library locations

You can borrow books from any U of T library, to access printed books:
  1. Click on the hyperlinked title of any book in this guide.
  2. Note which library has the book and decide which location is convenient for you to travel to
  3. Confirm that it is marked as "available" (not currently on loan to someone else)
  4. (Optional*) Sign into LibrarySearch at top right of the page and click on the name of the library you want to pick up the book from, then request the book be put aside for you at the loans/circulation desk (*a good approach if you are unable to go to that library immediately) See screenshot below. You will receive an email when your book is ready for pickup.
  5. Check the operating hours of that library by selecting the appropriate library on this separate page and clicking on their "library hours" link
  6. Bring your TCard, head to that library to collect and check out the book
