IITS maintains Apple and PC workstations distributed across several computing spaces on the North and South UTSC Campus. All inquiries regarding these labs should be sent to the Student HelpDesk.

UTORvpn is a general, remote access, VPN service. It connects your computer to the University’s network and protects the traffic across suspect intermediate networks such as hotels and coffee shops. UTORvpn cannot be combined with other network security measures such as Anonymous VPNs or TOR. When connected, all internet traffic from your computer will pass through UTORvpn. You will sign into UTORvpn using your UTORid and password.

It can be used for easier access to library e-resources and access other services which may be restricted to general on-campus networks.

The computer lab contains a collection of data analysis, video editing, publishing, and document viewer software.

This guide provides information on installing and renewing the ChemDraw software package for both PCs and Macs.

You should be able to install ChemDraw without difficulty, but sometimes things happen! Check out the FAQs below for common problems and suggestions for troubleshooting.

Download the latest version of the software and user manual. Note that you'll also need to install license files before you can begin using the MNova software. It is free for you to download and use on the University of Toronto campuses and off-campus after activation. Please note you'll need to be connected to the UTORvpn in order to activate the license files.

UTSC students who require MNova for coursework will find installation instructions and license files in your Quercus course. All other U of T users, please contact Darcy Burns darcy.burns@utoronto.ca at the CSICOMP NMR Facility.
