Requesting Rare Books

Once you know the bibliographical details of the book (title, author, edition, publication year, etc), the call number and the collection which contains the book, please submit your request(s) to the Library. For example:

Title: The Wise Virigins: A Story of Words, Opinions, and a Few Emotions

Author: Leonard S. Woolf

Publication Information: London: Edward Arnold, 1914.

Call number: PR6045 . O68 W57 1914 copy 1

Collection: Woolf Collection

You can submit this information to the Library by emailing us at: victoria.library@utoronto.ca

If you are requesting more than 5 books in one day, please give us 24 hours advance notice (Monday-Friday).

We do our retrievals for books at 10am, 1pm, and 3pm, Mondays to Fridays.
