PubMed
The National Library of Medicine's version of their MEDLINE database. It is freely available to the public (containing approximately 12 million citations, many of them with abstracts, from over 3,900 health sciences journals).
TRIP
TRIP’s goal is to “allow health professionals to easily find the highest-quality material available on the web to help support evidence-based practice.” It also provides easy access to medical images and patient information handouts.

IADR Abstract Archive
The International Association for Dental Research (IADR) holds the most important dental research meetings in the world. The meeting abstracts provided through this database will help you to keep up to date on current dental and collateral research findings.

National Guideline Clearinghouse
This is a comprehensive database containing evidence-based clinical practice guidelines and related documents produced by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, in partnership with the American Medical Association and the American Association of Health Plans. Users can search or browse by disease, treatment/intervention or organization.

TSpace
All theses published by the Master and Ph.D. students from Faculty of Dentistry University of Toronto since 2009 are freely available through this database.

American Dental Association Evidence-Based Dentistry
A very good resource for browsing and searching systematic reviews of oral health clinical information. The Clinical Recommendations Tool can help practitioners make evidence-based clinical treatment decisions. Links to outside evidence-based dentistry resources including tutorials, glossaries and databases are also available.
Canadian Dental Association - OASIS
The impetus for JCDA-OASIS (the Online Advice and Searchable Information System) arose from a series of discussions with Canadian general practice dentists who identified the need for concise clinical information and a decision support tool that would assist them in their everyday practice. It features:
- Oasis Discussions: reliable expert response for clinical questions, clinical cases, or emergency scenarios
- CDA Essentials: available online in both English and French, the official print publication of CDA keeps dentists informed about current news, issues, and clinical information.
