Digital humanities (DH) is a discipline at the intersections of the humanities with computing. DH studies human culture -- art, literature, history, geography, religion -- through computational tools and methodologies; and, in turn, DH studies the digital through humanist lenses. Here are some great examples:
Dura-Europos: Excavating Antiquity
The Medieval Kingdom of Sicily: A Visual Resource of Historical Sites c.110-c.1450
Jan Breughel : Complete Catalog
Mapping Art Markets in Europe, 1500-1800
