Keep the resolution of email images to a minimum of 72 ppi. Higher images may be rejected by your email provider. Ensure that you keep a higher derivative copy of a valued image in your archival storage. Transmit images in jpeg format and save images for prosperity in TIFF format (there is no compression of loss of pixels in a TIFF format).
