Chemdraw installation for Macs

Please note: The scientific software platform that owns and administers ChemDraw, previously known as PerkinElmer Informatics, has recently undergone some changes and has been rebranded as Revvity Signals Software, Inc. This change does not affect our access to ChemDraw or the download and installation process outlined below.

8. On the next page, copy the activation code highlighted in yellow as you will need this after you install the software. Then click on ChemDraw Professional from the New Versions tab to install the latest verson. Download the Mac OS installer (.dmg file) and complete the installation process.

9. Upon opening ChemDraw, a pop-up window will appear providing different options for licensing the product. Choose Activation Code and click Continue. If you are only able to enter a Signals URL and do not see the option to use an activation code, this means that you are opening the wrong application. Please make sure you are opening ChemDraw, rather than ChemDraw Collections (see Step 4 above).

In the new window that appears, enter your name, U of T email address and the 16-digit activation code you copied from the Revvity Signals Download Centre in step 3. Select Activate or Deactivate online, then click Activate. Now your license has been activated and you can use ChemDraw!
