Chemdraw installation for Macs

Please note: The scientific software platform that owns and administers ChemDraw, previously known as PerkinElmer Informatics, has recently undergone some changes and has been rebranded as Revvity Signals Software, Inc. This change does not affect our access to ChemDraw or the download and installation process outlined below.

If you already have a Download Centre account associated with your your UofT email address but are not able to log in, you may need to sign up again as a new user. 4. Run the installation and then open the ChemDraw application. Please note: the latest versions of the download files have also automatically included an application called ChemDraw Collections, which we do not have a license for at the University of Toronto. Please make sure to open ChemDraw, rather than ChemDraw Collections.

5. Upon opening ChemDraw, a pop-up window will appear providing different options for licensing the product. Choose Activation Code and click Continue. If you are only able to enter a Signals URL and do not see the option to use an activation code, this means that you are opening the wrong application. Please make sure you are opening ChemDraw, rather than ChemDraw Collections (see Step 4 above).

6. In the new window that appears, enter your name, U of T email address and the 16-digit activation code you copied from the Revvity Signals Download Centre in step 3. Select Activate or Deactivate online, then click Activate. Now your license has been activated and you can use ChemDraw!
