- Irina Bokova, UNESCO Director General, March 19, 2015

Hello! Welcome to the research guide for Environmental and Sustainability Education.

How this guide works

Each section of this guide provides a curated list of new and featured library and internet resources to support important topics in Environmental and Sustainability Education (ESE)Using the tabs to the left, explore library databases, search tips, books, key web links and streaming videos related to ESE to get you started on your research and teaching.

This research guide has been created in support of the important commitments and efforts of OISE's Sustainability and Climate Action Network and ongoing work of other units on campus such as the Sustainability Office. As well, this guide has been created in response to the University of Toronto President's Advisory Committee on the Environment, Climate Change, and Sustainability goals to enhance sustainability on our campuses.
