Presentation Skills for Scientists (2018) by Edward Zanders; Lindsay MacLeod
This updated second edition provides a concise and accessible guide to preparing and delivering scientific presentations. Its highly practical 'how-to' style focuses on the issues that are of immediate concern to the busy scientist.

There are many different methods and software tools that can be used for recording presentations. Here are a few options to get you started.

PowerPoint
Create presentation in PowerPoint (available through your Office 365 subscription) and use its embedded recording function to record the slides and accompanying audio.
TechSmith Snagit
The University of Toronto has licensed TechSmith Snagit as the institutional lecture recording solution to provide screen and audio recording. Resulting videos are saved locally on the computer where they were recorded and can be shared via streaming services such as U of T Libraries' MyMedia or Microsoft Stream.
Zoom
Zoom is a cloud-based video communications tool that can be used to produce pre-recorded presentations.
