Managing citations

Collecting and organizing citations can be one of the more frustrating tasks of research. Citation management software can help you save time by:

collecting citations (to articles, books, websites, etc.) from databases, library catalogues, web, etc.
organizing, editing and searching for citations
inserting and formatting citations and bibliographies into word processing
automatically formatting and reformatting references in particular styles e.g. APA, ACS, CBE/CSE or a particular journal's style
