ANT 200 Assignment -Designing an Archaeological Research Project

This LibGuide provides all the resources needed to complete the ANT200 (Summer 2022) Assignment.

Students must include for their topic:

  • 1 general resource (an Encyclopedia entry, textbook description, magazine article, podcasts, websites are all acceptable)
  • 4 academic sources (peer-reviewed articles, book chapters from edited academic books, review articles). Each source should include one or two sentences explaining why the source has been selected as appropriate for inclusion.
    • 2 of the academic sources should address archaeological methods (see examples listed below)
    • 2 of the academic sources should address cultural history
    • Book reviews, websites, documentaries, and podcasts are NOT acceptable as academic sources
  • All references should be formatted in the Chicago Manual of Style Author-Date System.
