Animal Advocacy Careers’ mission is to direct animal advocates to opportunities to achieve the highest impact possible through their careers. They empower individuals to make a lasting impact in the fight against animal suffering by providing high-quality career support and connecting them with impactful ways to get involved in animal advocacy. Their resources include online courses, a job board (including Canadian job opportunities), a talent directory and one-on-one career advising calls.
Animal Legal Defense Fund
The Animal Legal Defense Fund’s mission is to protect the lives and advance the interests of animals through the legal system. The Animal Legal Defense Fund accomplishes this mission by filing high-impact lawsuits to protect animals from harm, providing free legal assistance and training to prosecutors to assure that animal abusers are held accountable for their crimes, supporting tough animal protection legislation and fighting legislation harmful to animals, and providing resources and opportunities to law students and professionals to advance the emerging field of animal law.
The Brooks Institute for Animal Rights Law & Policy
The Brooks Institute pursues a paradigm shift in human responsibility towards, and value of, nonhuman animals by advancing animal law, animal policy, and related interdisciplinary studies. They provide various resources including the Animal Law Digest (US and Canada), and the Animal Law Fundamentals video series, and Reading and Media Resource lists.
CALF | Coller Animal Law Forum
CALF is a purpose-built legal database for policymakers, researchers, and advocates. Select a law or policy to access information and analysis. Note that the database is not exhaustive and can be seen as a collection of legal and policy approaches that show some leadership or stewardship from the perspective of farmed animal advocacy.
Cambridge Centre for Animal Rights Law
The Cambridge Centre for Animal Rights Law is an academic centre of competence dedicated to the study of fundamental rights for non-human animals and is based in Cambridge, UK. The Centre builds on the success of the Talking Animals, Law & Philosophy series which has become a renowned forum for exchange of research in animal rights law ever since its inception in 2015.
Faunalytics
Faunalytics’ mission is to empower animal advocates with access to research, analysis, strategies, and messages that maximize their effectiveness to reduce animal suffering. They conduct essential research, maintain an online research library, and directly support advocates and organizations in their work to save lives. The range of data offered helps the movement understand how people think about and respond to advocacy, providing advocates with the best strategies to inspire change for animals.
Global Animal Law GAL Association
Animal welfare legislation database (AWLD) at every level in the world. Database by Global Animal Law GAL Association, based on the available existing information online as of 31st of March 2021. Database was initially created and maintained by Sabine Brels, PhD in Law and former head of the GAL UNCAHP Project (2014 – Feb. 2021), from 2016 to 31st January 2020.
Measures Library
The Measures Library includes over 40 scales that have been developed to measure people’s attitudes, beliefs, motivations, and other psychological constructs related to the consumption of plant-based and animal-derived products, vegetarianism, veganism, and non-human animals. The library is not exhaustive and will be updated in the future. The Measures Library is meant as a resource for researchers who would like to conduct research in this area.

The North American Association for Critical Animal Studies, inspired by its sister society, The European Association for Critical Animal Studies, is a society that will hold a biennial meeting for critical, anti-speciesist research in human-animal relations.
Oxford Centre for Animal Ethics
The Centre is the first in the world dedicated to pioneering ethical perspectives on animals through academic research, teaching, and publication; it is an independent "think tank" for the advancement of progressive thought about animals; and it aims to put animals on the intellectual agenda.
