Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television
The Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television is an organization that creates networking opportunities for cinema and television professionals.
 
Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA)
This national association represents more than 21,000 performers working in English-language recorded media. Its two Ontario branches are ACTRA Toronto (the largest branch of the Alliance) and ACTRA Ottawa. Among its services, ACTRA maintains the talent directory 'Face to Face Online and Into the Mainstream', a directory of visible and audible minority performers.

Canadian Film Centre
The CFC is a non-profit collective focused on helping Canadian creatives in the film industry accelerate their careers with the wider aim of promoting the screen-based digital industry.

Canadian Media Producers Association
The Canadian Media Producers Association is Canada’s trade association for independent producers. We represent hundreds of companies engaged in the development, production and distribution of English-language content for TV, feature film and digital media channels.

Canadian Society of Cinematographers
The CSC is a not-for profit-organization that features an expansive membership directory with students hoping to delve further into the industry, seasoned news veterans or camera operators. CSC also offers members events that focus on promoting cinematography nationally.

Charles Street Video
Charles Street Video (CSV) is a non-profit production organization established in 1981 to help support media artists. We provide affordable access to equipment and post-production editing facilities for creating videos, films, installations and other media art forms.

Directors Guild of Canada
The DGC is a Canadian labour group representing almost 5000 creative/logistic personal engaged in the screen based industry from design, direction to producing and editing. DGC is also responsible for instigating discussion and agreements surrounding issues of concern for members i.e. Canadian content conditions.

Directors Guild of Canada Ontario
The Directors Guild of Canada in Ontario is a provincial labour organization representing key creative and operational specialists in the following categories: Directors, Assistant Directors, Production Managers, Location Managers, Production Designers & Art Directors, Accountants, Picture & Sound Editors, Post Production Supervisors, and their respective departmental assistants.

Documentary Organization of Canada
This is a national non-profit professional and advocacy organization dedicated to supporting independent documentary filmmaking and filmmakers in Canada.

Independent Media Arts Alliance
The Alliance is a member-driven non-profit national organization working to advance and strengthen the media arts community in Canada. Representing more than 100 independent film, video, audio, and new media production, distribution, and exhibition organizations in all parts of the country, the Alliance serves more than 16,000 independent media artists and cultural workers.
 
International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Moving Picture Technicians, Artists and Allied Crafts (IATSE)
IATSE represents workers in all forms of live theater, motion picture and television production, trade shows and exhibitions, television broadcasting, and concerts as well as the equipment and construction shops that support all these areas of the entertainment industry.

Liaison of Independent Filmmakers of Toronto
LIFT supports the independent film community through programs and activities, including workshops, training and grants. It also provides access to equipment and facilities, and an online cast and crew database.

National Film Board of Canada
Canada’s public producer and distributor, the National Film Board of Canada (NFB) produces and coproduces innovative documentaries, animation and interactive/immersive works that provide new perspectives on Canada and the world from Canadian points of view.

Telefilm Canada
Telefilm Canada is a Crown corporation dedicated to the success of Canada’s audiovisual industry, fostering access and excellence by delivering programs that support cultural resonance and audience engagement.

Trinity Square Video
This not-for-profit centre provides artists with video production/post-production support and services at accessible rates. It also offers workshops on creative and business issues related to filmmaking.

Women in Film and Television Canada Coalition
The WIFT Canada Coalition is a dynamic group of autonomous WIFT chapters across Canada: WIFT Atlantic, FCTMN - Québec, WIFT Toronto, WIFT Alberta and WIFT Vancouver and Women in View. The Coalition is committed to exploring issues, to challenging the status quo and to championing initiatives that contribute to an equitable and safe environment for all women and gender diverse people in the Canadian screen industry.
