Artist-Run Centres and Collectives Conference
The Artist-Run Centres and Collectives Conference is a Canadian organization that represents – by way of the nine artist-run centres’ associations that form its membership – over 180 artist-run centres in the visual and media arts, contemporary craft and architecture and collectives in cities and towns across the country.
Artist-Run Centres and Collectives of Ontario
Supports the growth and development of artist-directed organizations engaged in contemporary cultural practice. This website lists all the artist-run centres in Ontario. These are publicly funded, but differ from public art galleries, museums and commercial galleries in the diverse ways they promote contemporary art and help their artist members develop as professionals. They offer gallery exhibitions, offsite public art work, support for the artwork of a particular medium and/or support for the artwork of the regional community.

CERF+ is the resource for craftspeople looking for information on emergency preparedness and how to deal with a disaster. Information is available on their website about safeguarding, disaster planning, cleanup, salvage and e-salvage, and is freely accessible online to Canadians.
Craft Ontario
Formerly the Ontario Crafts Council, Craft Ontario is a not-for-profit service organization that works to have craft recognized as a valuable part of life. It promotes and celebrates professional craft through providing member opportunities, and advocate for craft practice by educating and empowering diverse audiences.
Galeries Ontario / Ontario Galleries
This not-for-profit association represents Ontario's public and private sector art galleries. It encourages members to work in close cooperation with the Ontario Arts Council, helps visual art centres in the province promote high standards of excellence and uniform methods in the care and presentation of works of art, and advises on matters of professional interest.
Ontario Society of Artists
We are a professional association for visual artists living and working across Ontario with a mandate to promote the visual arts through exhibitions, special projects and arts advocacy. Our membership roster includes many of Canada’s best-known painters, sculptors, printmakers and photographers.
Royal Canadian Academy of Arts
The Royal Canadian Academy of Arts recognizes Canadian visual artists who have demonstrated excellence and honours their achievements. The objectives of the Academy are to encourage, further and cultivate the arts of painting, sculpture, architecture, and design in the graphic, decorative and industrial arts.
Visual Arts Alliance
A consortium of national visual art, media art, and craft arts service organizations comprised of artists, curators, art museums, artist-run centres and art dealers. Its mission is to ensure the sustainability of Canadian artists, art professionals and their institutions.
