There are so many excellent books that can support your research.
You don't necessarily need to read the entire book when researching for an assignment.
Many books have chapters that are self-contained, and many are anthologies which contain multiple essays or articles by various authors.
To find books, it's best to start with a key word search in the catalogue.
You can also search by subject (as seen below):
You must then use a Library of Congress Subject Heading, such as one of the following:

Intercultural Communication
Interpersonal Communication
