Knovel is an engineering specific ebook collection that contains handbooks, textbooks, technical dictionaries and DfX resources.
You can use the library catalogue o find handbooks, books, and DfX resources. It includes hardcopy & online materials at all U of T Libraries. Use simple general keywords when searching for books.
If you are searching for physical books in a library, have a look near the call number you area searching. All books on the same topic are kept in the same area.
When you find a useful book, make note of the:
call number e.g., T14.5 .V52 2003
library e.g., Engineering & Computer Science Library
location within that library e.g., stacks
Note:the "stacks" is on the second floor of the Engineering & Computer Science Library and it is where we keep most of our books.
