Be sure to evaluate any material you find online to determine any evident biases and motivations in publishing various data and statistics. When in doubt, ask for help!

Canadian Research Data Centre Network
The Canadian Research Data Centre Network (CRDCN) is a premier research and training platform for over 2,500 researchers in the quantitative social and health sciences in Canada. The Network provides unique access to Statistics Canada data on 33 campuses across the country to advance knowledge and inform public policy.
CIA World Factbook
The World Factbook provides basic information on the history, people, government, economy, energy, geography, environment, communications, transportation, military, terrorism, and transnational issues for 258 world entities.

Statistics Canada
Canada's national statistical agency. In addition to news and community profiles, Statistics Canada provides access to CANSIM, maps, and geography.
Transparency International
Transparency International was founded in 1993 by former employees of the World Bank with a purpose to take action to combat global corruption with civil societal anti-corruption measures and to prevent criminal activities arising from corruption.
UNdata
UNdata is a web-based data service for the global user community. It brings international statistical databases within easy reach of users through a single-entry point. Users can search and download a variety of statistical resources compiled by the United Nations (UN) statistical system and other international agencies, including Statistics and data from the United Nations, including information from the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, and the International Labour Organization.
