IRE2002 is designed to teach students to understand, interpret, and conduct research in industrial relations/human resources. The focus is on the whole of the research process beginning with how problems and theory are converted into research ideas and questions and ending with a research paper. Students learn how to develop research questions and hypotheses, design and conduct research using a number of research methods, develop measures that are reliable and valid, analyze data, and critically evaluate research and to become better and more informed consumers of research.
