Great Story Telling!

Before you start, it is really important to think about how you will tell your story, and how to make it effective. Here are some steps to think about before you even sign into the software.

Planning your story

Now you know a little bit about great story telling and the various elements that result in an impactful story. Now you can think about something that is equally important: Planning your story. This will definitely help to set you up for success! Some of the key areas to think about before you get started include:

  • Identifying your target audience - who are you making this story for?
  • Defining your key takeaways - what do you want the audience to take away?
  • Creating a content inventory - what do you want to include (and what is crucial to include)?
  • Drafting an outline - how will you tell the story?
