Handouts to accompany a research poster are almost never required, but they can still be a useful complement to your poster presentation. Viewers of your poster may like a copy of your work, so they follow up with you in future. Handouts are also useful for people NOT able to attend your poster presentation.
For a handout, you can try a couple of different approaches:
- You can provide a small copy of your poster (make sure it is still readable)
OR
- Present material not able to fit on the poster, such as a bibliography or additional references.
- Include your research abstract and contact details (name, research affiliation, email address)
