Asian Cinema and Short Film Collection

This collection consists of short films produced by directors in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Cambodia, Vietnam and other Asian countries. The films are available in FADIS, accessible with UTOR ID and login.

INTRODUCTION

The University of Toronto Library System has a growing collection of Asian films, many of which are now online, Volumes I and II, Asian Film Online (Alexander Street) and Ethnographic Video Online: Volume 2 (North America).

The ASIAN SHORT FILM COLLECTION is a unique collection compiled and made available by UTM faculty and librarians in the Department of Visual Studies and the UTM Library. The collection consists of short films from several Asian regions: Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and more. This collection of films is available for viewing in FADIS (click) and the Library Catalogue (search for UTMDigFilm). You will need your UTOR ID login and password to access these films  for the University of Toronto community. These films are available for research and study purposes.
