This guide assists with finding empirical studies in cross-cultural psychology

Literature Reviews

A literature review must do these things

  1. be organized around and related directly to the thesis or research question you are developing
  2. synthesize results into a summary of what is and is not known
  3. identify areas of controversy in the literature
  4. formulate questions that need further research

Find more information on the process at the UofT Writing: Literature Review site.

Citing

Here is the link to the authoritative APA Style Guide from APA:

Many students find the Excelsior APA Style Guide helpful, but the most comprehensive guide is the MacEwan University's APA Style Guide (7th ed.). Both guides, and other resources, are available via the UTM Psychology Guide Citation Styles box.

We no longer link out to OWL Purdue as they have entered into a commercial partnership.
