CHMB62: Biochemistry

This guide will help students enrolled in CHMB62 Biochemistry to complete assignments, specifically the Literature Searching Assignment and installing relevant chemistry software.

Learning Outcomes

1. Research as Inquiry

  • Brainstorm and present a working research topic to guide your research, reading, and writing of your presentation topic.

  • Determine an appropriate scope of investigation.

  • Deal with complex research by breaking complex questions into simple ones, limiting the scope of investigations.

2. Searching as Strategic Exploration

  • Identify a list of keywords specific to your topic in order to retrieve relevant books and articles in a library database for your research assignment.

Undergraduate Research Events & Prizes

The University of Toronto Scarborough is committed to fostering the undergraduate experience. As part of this commitment, the UTSC Office of the Vice-Principal Research and Innovation and the UTSC Library launched two successful initiatives in 2016 which continue to evolve and grow every year. Of particular note, we’re pleased to introduce a new creative project stream for our annual Forum.

Each initiative provides an opportunity for students who have excelled in research, scholarship and creative activities to showcase their work and win cash prizes.
