Hosting a Debate

• Present the historical and/or practical importance of the debate topic
• Summarize major themes or findings from required and suggested readings

Research component: critically read and evaluate provided papers on the debate topic

Final Paper

• 6-7 pages that summarize one debate topic covered in class and propose a novel study to help resolve some aspect of the debate
• Include a statement of expected findings + what each would mean in terms of resolving the debate topic at hand

Research component: (recommended, but not required) Conduct additional research on the debate topic and on Social Psychology methods
