iLightboard

"iLighboard" is an in-house developed video lecture recording iPad app that also doubles as a live drawing app—a cost-effective and easy-to-use alternative to the increasingly popular teaching tool, Lightboard.

Features

  • Portability and mobility lets users can play with and test the app at home without having to use studio time
  • Continuous recording without cleaning glass between takes
  • Directly export finished recording to iMovie for editing, or directly upload to the web
  • Insert powerpoint slides into the video, enabling live annotation
  • App can be sold on the App Store and distributed to other institutions
  • Leverage users’ familiarity with iPad UI for greater ease-of-use
  • Ability to capture and export notes from a presentation as a pdf for distribution
