GGR305 Assignments Overview

In this course, students are asked to complete a Research Question/Critical Reading Assignment and a Term Paper. This Library Research Guide is designed to help you get the most out of the Library Resources available to you for researching and successfully completing these assignments.

SUGGESTED Approaches to Formulating a Term Paper Research Question

Untitled Document

  • Focus on ONE TAXON (species, genus, etc) investigating how it has changed over time.
  • Focus on A SPECIFIC LOCATION investigating what plants, mammal, birds, invertebrate, or other taxonomic group are currently present.
  • Focus on HUMANS' IMPACT on a given TAXA or the diversity in a particular LOCATION
  • Choose YOUR OWN APPROACH, with prior approval from the instructor.
