Need help navigating a research project or using library resources?

Feel free to contact me using your U of T email address at s.forbes@utoronto.ca with any questions or use my booking link to request a meeting. When scheduling an appointment, please provide a brief overview of your research topic and any research done to date (e.g. where you've looked, any keywords you've tried, pain points encountered, citations to any helpful results found, etc.).

Sample topics I can help you get started with:

  • Developing a topic and focusing your research question
  • Identifying keywords and databases to help build search strategies
  • Refining your literature search to expand or narrow your results
  • Critically reading and analyzing scientific literature
  • Citation management resources to organize your references
