Class Actions

The National Class Action Database provides access to court documents for current class action lawsuits. It reduces the challenges of multi-jurisdictional class actions and also provides information about the size and composition of class membership. Note that the database is not comprehensive as it is a voluntary initiative.

The registry provides a range of information about all the class actions filed in Québec since 2009 including a description of the class; claim deadlines; courthouse; contact information, etc. You can also view the main court documents for the class action. Please note that documents in the registry are not translated.
