Use the Advanced Search from the UTM Library homepage and limit your searches just to books.
Change the 'Format' to 'Books.' Use the *symbol on the stem 'ital' to retrieve the keywords 'Italy' or 'Italian' without having to type both. Use the boolean operator 'OR' to search for keywords that mean the same thing in your search, for instance 'film' OR 'cinema'. You can also use 'OR' to search for film titles in the original Italian as well as in English translation.
I recommend to start with simple searches of the titles of the films or literature along with the director name (if you want the film) or author name (if you are researching the literature that the films are adapted from). When you type in the title, use quotation marks to keep the words in the correct order.
